​You are now enrolled in a  college-level survey class in American History. I look forward to spending time together and getting to learn all about our great nation's history.  While I hope to have a lot of fun, I also expect everyone in this class to attend all the time, to come prepared all the time, to participate all the time in a constructive and cooperative manner, and to shoulder the responsibility for the class work in a mature and diligent way without whining and complaining. By the end, I hope all of my students walk away with an appreciation of history and hopefully had some fun in the process.
